Facility Requirements
Fumes and smoke occure duing the engraving process. Most systems provide you with an exhaust unit that moves at 200 CFM at 6" of static pressure. Universal Laser Systems are designed with exhaust in mind. they do not constantly run, thus savng on your utility costs.
Electircal
M and X Platforms: Single phase 110 vac line with 15 amp breaker 50/60hz, or single pahse 22 vac, 5 amp 50/60hz. These units have switchable power supplies. X2 Platforms which require single pahse, 220 vac, 50/60 hz 15 amp.
Cooling Systems
Air cooled, ambient operating range of 50-90F (10-35C)
Safty
Class 1 safety enclosur for co2 laser beam. Class IIIa for red laser pointer.

CFM - Cubic feet of airflow per minute. In order it find the CFM needed you must first find the volume of sace that is going to be hooked up to the exhaust system.

VFM - Volume of airflow per minute.

Static Resistance/Pressure - The resistance of airflow, measured in inches of water. Static pressure has an effect on all factors in the exhaust.
